The motive for this small building is to accommodate extended use of space for working, meeting, and occasional lodging. With just a 20-minute drive from the owners’ house, it is a perfect micro-living experimentation under the concept ‘Enduring / Uplifting / Functional’.

This 70-square-meter building, with 40 enclosed spaces, is built on 1,200-square-metre land. Total usable area is derived from calculations of budget and material used, prioritizing quality over quantity. Thus, attentive architectural and layout design is needed to maximize the potential of such small spaces.

With all the structures built at the front of the plot, the building also serves as an enclosure to the garden inside and a buffer area for the private house that will be constructed in the future.

For its purpose, the architecture is best represented in simplicity, with 2 perpendicular long walls, one acting as the main building itself, and another as a ‘leading line’ for overall composition and a barrier for the internal road.
