This office-warehouse complex on Wat Sang Mai Road was designed and built to accommodate Bee Acrylic x Beehive's growth. Due to the old office space constraints, the second-generation owner intended to create a workplace that allows for better logistics and worker well-being.

“Two buildings, three functions, connected with flowing circulation.“

Two buildings: an office in the front and a warehouse in the back. Three functions: workspace, production space, and storage space. These elements are connected by the design that emphasizes three main objectives: user circulation, natural ventilation, and natural lighting.

User-centric circulation leads to a layout that enables employees to move from one point to the other most easily and efficiently. Well-placed windows, spaces between buildings, and the second-floor courtyard enable good natural ventilation, creating a comfortable atmosphere without the need for continuous air-conditioning. They also let in adequate natural lighting, allowing less use of artificial ones and reducing excessive electricity consumption.

“Structural harmony leads to proper use and clear architectural language.“

With exposed mechanical systems and bare finishings, it is crucial to have good design and construction planning.

In both buildings, the architect used a straightforward design language, creating beauty from immaculate structures and the juxtaposition of different materials.

The front office building is clad in raw, exposed concrete, in contrast with neat finishes such as aluminum and synthetic wood. The warehouse and manufacturing facility are less shown to the public, so more budget materials like metal sheets are used. Ample natural light brightens the area through translucent roof tiles on orange trusses, reflecting the Bee Acrylic x Beehive brand identity.
